There will be no homework assignments this week!
Please take advantage and get outside for fresh air and exercise. Everyone should try to get a good night's sleep and eat a good breakfast!
I'll repeat the instructions from the week before below!
Every morning in school, to start the testing off easily, we begin the day with breathing exercises to boost energy and productivity, then we throw our worries out the window !!!!
CALM, COOL, RELAXED, RESTED, and CONFIDENT!
Here are a few tips for successful testing days! A good night's sleep, a great breakfast, plenty of sharpened number two pencils, a filled water bottle, and something to read. The third grade is the only grade with a two-day InView test. The InView is a test that measures their Cognitive ability. The rest of the Core Battery Testing will take place the following week. The Core Battery is subject-based tests: Reading, Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies. Our expectation for SKS is that our students just try their best. During Terra Novas, there will be no homework. Students cannot "study" for these tests. We began preparing last week with practice activities and will continue to do so over the next week so they are comfortable with the type of questions and content they will see during the test.
